Corpus Christi Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to be an integral part of the rebirth of the club. CCCC celebrated its centennial in 2022. Along with that celebration, the club will be going through a renovation.
• Starting with the golf course, the course saw a $3 Million renovation directed with famed architect Chet Williams.
• Chet Williams has worked on other Texas projects like Whispering Pines, Rock Creek, Dallas Athletic Club Blue and Gold, Cimarran Hills, Royal Oaks (Dallas), Horseshoe Bay Summit Rock and Big Easy Ranch amongst others.
• All greens, bunkers, fairways, some tees, driving range tee and short game area were renovated.
• Golf course project completed and opened in October of 2022.
• Clubhouse renovations could start as early as 2024.

Assistant Professional will report directly to Head Golf Professional, Brent Blackburn.
• Brent is an award-winning Merchandiser and Golf Professional with a focus on Innovative Junior, Teaching and Fitting Programs, plus creatively engaging members through Golf Tournaments and Social Activities.
• Brent started at CCCC in January of 2021 and has held leadership positions at Gentle Creek Country Club (Prosper, TX), Dallas Athletic Club, Lakeside Country Club (Houston), and Memorial Park(Houston).
• Golf pro shop sales have increase over 30% in a member pricing format and has topped $300,000, first time in club history.
• Operation 36 has been a nucleus for group teaching. Programs have included: Birdie Basics (ages 3-6), Junior Golf Academy (ages 7 and up) and a Ladies Golf Workshops.
• Operation 36 awarded Brent Blackburn as a Top 50 Coach for 2021.
• Brent has shown a history of moving assistants into other leadership positions at other clubs.
