Welcome to Red Rocks Country Club, a member-owned Private Country Club located in Morrison, Colorado.  Our club is nestled alongside the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and boasts some of the most spectacular golf views in the greater Denver area.  From nearly half our golf holes you will have unfiltered views of the front range that extend to the eastern plains.  With views to the north, you are immediately drawn to the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Our signature hole #16 gives you a spectacular view of what locals call Whale Rock which is an enormous rock formation framing the backside of the green.  Once you arrive at #17 tee box, you will be 6290 feet above sea level with an unmatched view of Denver. Our club finalized a $4.2 million dollar renovation project in July of 2022.  Red Rocks holds true to a casual Country Club setting with amazing food, exceptional service and a very welcoming environment for all members, guests and staff. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a creative and outgoing individual for our Golf Shop Merchandise Manager position.  This energetic individual will would be a full-time salaried staff member directly responsible for enhancing the Golf Shop Experience. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented while having the ability to creatively display merchandise in a 1,200 sq ft Golf Shop in a visually appealing manner. This individual is also responsible for staying up to date on the latest Golf trends while gaining an understanding of members’ wants and needs. Applicants are expected to have a flexible schedule that will allow you to work holidays and weekends.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or enrollment in a Fashion program preferred (not required).
• Previous merchandise/retail experience preferred.
• Experience in the Golf Industry preferred

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Maintain an excellent customer service experience for members and guests. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
• Required to stand, sit, stoop, squat and walk for extended period.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, ForeTees, and POS System (Jonas or Club Essential Software experience is a plus).
• Ability to create graphics on Canva and compose emails that will be sent to over 1200+ members for communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during the busy season (April-October) at a private course that does 39,000 Golf rounds annually.
• Responsible for working with multiple vendor sales reps and purchasing apparel/accessories in the Golf Shop based on latest trends.
• Must be able to manage sales and meet monthly and yearly sales budget goals for a Golf Shop that averages $500,000 in merchandise sales annually.
• Responsible for managing inventory and assist in counting all Golf Shop items on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for keeping track of special orders and providing uniforms for all departments.
• Responsible for entering invoices into software system and creating new SKU’s for merchandise.
• Ability to travel to local Denver merchandise shows and PGA Show located in Orlando.
• Assist Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with day-to-day golf shop operations.
• Assist in set-up and operation of golf tournaments, trunk shows, other events.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of Golf Shop.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 with a minimum of 35 hours per week (hours fluctuate with seasonal changes).
