The Country Club of Buffalo is a family club located in the norther Buffalo suburb of Williamsville, NY and was founded in 1889. The current golf course was designed by Donald J. Ross in 1926. The club is a healthy and active family country club with approximately 400 full members. The course typically plays 18,000 rounds of golf annually with an active member tournament schedule.
They have recently completed a successful golf course restoration that was awarded restoration of the year by Golf Inc. magazine in 2014. The club has recently renovated their locker rooms and the first floor of their clubhouse. The golf course is currently ranked 74th on the Golfweek top 100 classic course list, has been as a Platinum Club in America and the Golf Shop has received the Association of Golf Merchandisers Platinum Award for top 100 golf shops multiple times. The golf shop has also been awarded the WNY PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year. The course will be hosting the 2027 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur and the 2032 U.S. Senior Amateur Championships

Professionalism (appearance, decorum, integrity) and an attention to detail are essential personal characteristics of a successful candidate. The current staff consists of highly motivated professionals that collaborate extraordinary well together to achieve their desired goals.
The club and Head Professional are committed to providing all of the assistant professionals with 5 day work weeks. We look forward to the 1st Assistant Professional help us achieve this goal.
The last five 1st Assistant Professionals (since 2011) have all successfully moved from the Country Club of Buffalo to their own Head Golf Professional position. The club is fully committed to fostering career growth through mentorship and educational opportunities.
Class A PGA Member
Titleist Performance Institute Certified (preferably TPI Junior Coach)
Successful fitting experience utilizing Trackman and Flightscope (these will be provided for your use)
Successful junior golf experience with PGA Junior League Experience and preferably TPI Level 2 Junior Golf Certified
