Lead Assistant Golf Professional

The Lead Assistant Golf Professional at Fawn Lake Country Club serves a vital role in the operation of the Club. They are heavily involved in all areas of the Golf Operations including member service, tournament operations, player development and merchandising. This person reports directly to the Head Golf Professional and will assist in oversite of our entire golf program while working alongside our 2nd assistant professional. 

Fawn Lake Country Club is a beautiful member-owned club located in Spotsylvania, VA - about 25 minutes west of the I-95 corridor. FLCC is a gated residential community made up of approximately 1,300 homes with a private lake, 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature course, Har-Tru Clay tennis courts, pickle ball courts, beach volleyball, olympic size swimming pool, baseball and soccer fields. Fawn Lake is recognized as Fredericksburg area's premier private course in the region that is supported by over 800 memberships to include Golf, Sports, Tennis and Social. 

• Two years of golf club experience preferred
• Class A PGA member preferred, if not at least actively enrolled in Level 1 or 2
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Golf Genius

• Executing tournament operations while utilizing Golf Genius to assist in running weekly club events and outside outings.
• Leading an active Junior Golf Program to include instruction, schedling and team matches for PGA Junior League 
• Helping orchestrate player development programs for club members
• Demonstrating a high level of customer service daily to all members and guests
• Willingness to participate and play with members recreationally and in Pro-Am events  
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with leading and mentoring a team that includes an assistant professional, golf shop attendants and outside service team.
