Assistant Golf Professional

Tualatin, OR | Established in 1912, Tualatin Country Club has long been considered one of the premier private clubs in the Pacific Northwest.  The parkland style walkable 18-hole course, originally designed by H. Chandler Egan and currently being redesigned by Dan Hixson, is located 13 miles south of downtown Portland, Oregon.  Along with the immaculate golf course, the membership enjoys the use of a full-length driving range with grass tee and mats, 3 practice putting greens, and a dedicated short game area.

Position Summary | The qualified candidate will join the team of 4 PGA Members and 1 PGA Associate to assist with all golf related activities at the club.  These activities include but are not limited to member services in and out of the golf shop, tournament operations, individual instruction, group clinics, and camps.  Experience in club repair and club fitting is a plus. 

This is a full-time position with our current employee benefit package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, vacation, holiday bonus, and optional 401(k) plan.  Salary depending on qualifications and experience.

• PGA Member, PGA Associate, or PGA-PGM University Intern
• Any applicant must be in good standing with the PGA of America.
• 2+ Years of Assistant Golf Professional Experience at a private club preferred
• Strong Member Service Background

Compensation & Benefits (in greater detail):

• $15-$17 per hour or up to $36,000 salary DOE

Total comp package for this position, based on salary, incentives and candidate's "member engagement" capacity, would be expected to range from $43,000-$53,000+ (with capacity for growth with each progressive season of development.)
