We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Championship Ticketing Coordinator. This position will be located in PGA’s office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 

 

Experience Required

High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing or related field.  

Two years’ related experience in marketing, promotions and/or event administration.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: 
Knowledge of hospitality programs or event operations. Proven efficiency in MS Suite, G Suite and the use of the internet.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain and support daily operations of the PGA spectator ticketing and credentialing administration.  The position would support day-to-day operational activities of Championship Ticketing, as it relates to PGA of America spectator championships (KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, PGA Championship, and Ryder Cup).

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Assist in the pre-event sales process, including revenue and sales reporting, research of in-market comparable pricing, pre-registration campaigns.

Maintain ticket process time-lines including pre-registration, media day/ticket launch, and e-Campaigns.

Collect ticket sales page build needs from the event sites and liaise with ticketing company to develop online sales pages including launch dates, product descriptions and types, text and event-branding. Test ticket sales pages for functionality and review elements for accuracy.
Support the online chat tool for event ticket sales and consumer pages. Support event email inboxes and answer consumer inbound inquiries and distribute internally as necessary.

Serve as liaison with all PGA Departments and external stakeholders regarding tickets and credentials. i.e. (PGA Membership Department Call Center)

Assist in the coordination and development of content creation and of the event Spectator Guide in digital and physical form.

Support and implement credentialing system under the direction of Championship Ticketing Director specific to each event to include Access Codes, data base development, credential charts, printing of credentials at HQ and on-site locations (Rules, Media & Player Registration), fulfillment and distribution of credentials and credential stock management.
Support staffing and management of the Admissions Trailer during week of event to include; Ticket Operations and credential stock inventory, customer service, Committee training, troubleshooting problems with IT department, and entrancing scanning operations.

Assist Championship Ticketing Director to create and place spectator and Corporate Hospitality ticket and parking orders, along with custom access items, with Championship Director and on-site operations team

Assist in creation, order and fulfillment of event lanyards, special function lanyards and Inside-the-Rope access lanyards with Championship Ticketing Director. Coordinate lanyard distribution on-site.

Update, produce and distribute event access policies to Allied Associations. Communicate PGA Member access policies to be hosted on PGA.org and disseminated via Section, and produce and process collect all Section ticket forms for fulfillment. Support creation, production and fulfillment of ticket gift certificates.

Conduct the printing and distribution of all internal ticket and parking orders for spectator Championships.

Assist Championship Ticketing Director to handle reconciliation of any internal imbalances with Finance through utilization of the ticketing report system.

Assist with on-site volunteer credential distribution with volunteer credential re-printing, volunteer hospitality upgrade sales, uniform sales, etc.

Assist ticketing company with customer phone calls regarding online ordering, refunds and any questions related to Championship ticket purchases. Prepare frequently asked question documents by event to be distributed to internal and external stakeholders.
 
Oversee volunteer committees and interns at events.
