Assistant Golf Professional

The Sahalee CC Golf Operations Team is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who wants to experience a career at a “Top 100” golf club. Applicants must have strong skills in customer service with ambition to exceed member expectations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience and success in the private golf club setting.

This job is perfect for the applicant that enjoys working with a fun team with diverse skills.  This position will reward the creative, self-starter who enjoys working with a talented team that feels like a family. This job has the potential to quickly develop into a key leadership role on our staff with the ultimate goal being to give the person the necessary skills to be a successful Head Professional in the future.

Two years experience

• Tournament Management/Promotion: Help manage the Men’s, Women’s and Outside events with the other assistants and understand the formats.
• Must enjoy helping and growing Junior Golf at Sahalee.
• Shop Management/Merchandising: This position will assist with formulating a buying plan, inventory check-in, and managing inventory levels (reorders, cancellations and returns).
• Assist with website management, email blasts and communicating information to the newsletter.
• Possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage events/projects from start to finish.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Publisher, Golf Genius/Event-man, Jonas POS, GHIN, and Foretees.
• Help manage golf shop activities and tee sheet. On occasion managing starting duties and/or marshalling will be necessary.

Vacation- 2 weeks paid after year 1, 3 weeks after year 6.

401K- Eligible after 90 days.

Medical/Dental/Vision- 90 days after first day, depends on what day you start in the month. Club pays 100%
