The Assistant Position at The Oregon Golf Club is an hourly position, stated here as an annual compensation range (like a salary). Depending on qualifications/experience, the hourly rate range is $16-$20/hr at 40 hrs per week is calculated at $33,280-$41,600 annually. Experience Required

  • PGA Associate (Level 1 or higher) or PGA Member
  • 1 Year customer service experience
  • 1 Year tournament operations experience
  • General knowledge of the golf swing and instruction

Essential Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Golf in all aspects of the golf operation.

  • Assist in the Day to Day Operation
      • Provide excelent customer service
      • Inside the shop, marshalling & in golf operations
  • Assist in tournament operations
      • Must be comfortable with golf genius, have a good understanding of tournament formats & rules. Must show an ability to lead a team and stay organized in a hectic environment
  • Assist in junior golf instructional programs
      • Must have a good knowledge of the golf swing and be able provide quality instruction that is fun for the juniors
      • Must be enthusiastic and engaging
  • Assist in managing outside staff
      • Must have the ability to lead by example
      • Effective communication skills
