Tour Operations Administrator

Overview

The Tour Operations Administrator is responsible for overseeing the on-site management of our Performance Insights program at select LPGA and Epson Tour events. This position will work closely with players, caddies, and operations team members to ensure data accuracy, address and resolve system issues, and provide daily operational support to the broader tournament operations team. This position will travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, and is based at our headquarters office in central Florida.

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, sports management, communications, or other related field preferred
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and analytical skills required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the game of golf required
  • Must be detail oriented and able to deliver accurate work within established deadlines
  • Self-started with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • This position requires international and domestic travel that will frequently include multiple nights up to four consecutive weeks.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist Sr. Director of Athlete Policy and Development with implementation of KPMG Performance Insights program.
  • Oversee on-site management of KPMG Performance Insights program. Identify and resolve critical system issues and insure data integrity.
  • Lead and train tournament volunteers on Stat Card collection and review process.
  • Work closely with players and caddies to correct issues with completed Stat Cards
  • Facilitate upload of Stat Cards to data partner and assist with tracking completed rounds and events
  • Assist with communication and customer service with players and caddies regarding the statistics project
  • Provide daily operational support to the LPGA Rules team with business operations and athlete communications
    • Complete Pro-Am and tournament rounds processes
    • Distribute communications regarding field committment changes on-site
    • Compile and distribute communications to players/caddies concerning weather delays
    • Act as a liaison for the Rules team with tournament constituents during busy times
  • Provide operational support to the LPGA Tour Operations staff at LPGA headquarters with tournament management such as player commitments/withdrawals, credentials, membership dues, and other tournament related projects
