About the Club

Willow Lake Golf Club is a Semi-Private facility located in Metter, Georgia. The golf club is nestled among tall pine trees, hills, and lakes.

In the winter of 2016, Willow Lake Golf Club opened up a First-Class Practice Facility. Our Driving Range has 15 hitting stations and 5 target greens. We also have a beautiful Short Game Practice Area with a large green and two bunkers.    

Throughout the year, Willow Lake Golf Club hosts seven major golf tournaments including an individual Georgia PGA Senior Tour event in early April.

Willow Lake is one of the most beautiful golf courses in South Georgia. Our greens were designed to challenge beginners and seasoned golfers alike. We are open to the public and invite you to play Willow Lake Golf Club.

Position Summary

 Willow Lake Golf Club is searching for a dynamic leader who desires to develop the Club into the place to be in Metter, Georgia. This position will manage and direct the overall operational and fiscal performance of the club as well as take the lead on member programming and activities.

Reports To: Board of Directors, President - Dennis Allen

• PGA Member in good standing is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a management position.
• Understanding in all aspects of Club Operations.
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs, emails, and the internet, experience with software applications a plus.
• Ability to analyze and solve challenges, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure situations and work flexible hours and required including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities include, not limited to:

• Management of staff and day-to-day operations at the facility.
• Promotion of events, activities, and golf tournaments.
• Membership sales and retention, food & beverage, and pool operations.
• Organizing and operating golf tournaments, creating an annual golf tournament schedule, teaching, and development as well as oversight of year-round golf leagues.
• Management and collaboration regarding the golf shop for club fitting, retail sales and golf teaching and coaching programs.

The Head Professional / General Manager will work closely with the staff to be an integral part in building successful programming, social activities and events, tournaments, member services, and internal efficiencies in the club operation. All activities will be planned with the club's committees and on the club's annual calendar.

The right candidate will be goal-oriented, while also being able to cultivate teamwork to provide the best services for Willow Lake members and guests.
