About the Club:
Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Barton Hills Country Club was founded in 1919 including an original Donald Ross design that opened in 1922. Originally operating as a dairy farm, Barton Hills sprawls across 160-acres of land including 115 bunkers and multiple tee options that range from 4538 to 7070 yards.
Throughout the club’s history, Barton Hills has hosted the 98th Women’s Amateur in 1998 (Grace Park), the 22nd US Women’s Mid-Amateur in 2008 and the 1961 Coffey Cadillac Pro-Am Invitational Tournament where legends such as Arnold Palmer and Gary Player have competed.
Architects including Tyler Rae and Ron Pritchard have both assisted with course restoration over the past 10 years. Most recently, Mike Nuzzo has continued to restore the original Donald Ross design by combining fairways 13, 14 and 18. Along with the most recent project, fairways have been reseeded to provide a superb playing surface for all golfers.
Barton Hills Country Club has been recognized as one of the premiere private clubs in the state and remains committed to providing Members and Guests with a first-class golf experience.
