Assistant Golf Professional

BlackHorse Golf Club is a semi-private club with a "Country Club Feel". BlackHorse is the perfect club to gain experience in all facets of the business as we have 540 members, 130 tournament annually, and fill in the remainder of the tee sheet gaps with public play. We have two 18-hole courses that are give us many options for blending the three player types, while still actively engaging our members through fun golf programming. 

BlackHorse Golf Club is looking for a driven individual that wants to learn, grow and succeed. The ideal candidate would be a PGA Member with hopes of becoming a Head Golf Professional in the not so distant future. Our goal is for this candidate to work hard and learn quickly, with hopes of giving them the skills and experience neccesary to take the next step toward their career goals. A golf professional with that mindset will be very successful in this role as we want to professionaly develop our golf professionals. 

Some of the essential responsibilities are listed below, however, the ultimate job responsibilities are established by the Head Professional to ensure the greatest success of the operation. 

• Assist with the managing of day-to-day operations
• Manage outside service team 
• Manage golf shop staff
• Assist in schedule creation and management
• Engage with members and guests on a daily basis
• Assist with all tournament operations
• Manage pace of play on both courses
• Manage the golf car fleet
• Ensure proper accounting of all golf shop operations
• Assist with merchandising in the golf shop
• Recieve and promote new merchandise on the floor
• Manage merchandise COGS and proper invoice reconciliation
• Assist with all monthly inventory processes
• Perform the golfer check in process as needed
• Perform the range attendent job as needed
• Assist in revenue generation 
• Perform any other duties as asked by the Head Golf Professional
