Responsibilities include management of staff and day-to-day operations at the facility. Golf lessons and package sales, teaching, and development as well as oversight of year around golf leagues. Management and collaboration regarding the golf shop for club fitting and retail sales. Continued oversight and maintenance of golf simulators required. Additional responsibilities overseeing facility and bar depending on availability.
- Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
- Selling golf lessons and packages.
- Conducting golf lessons with individuals and occasionally groups.
- Leadership duties include assisting the GM with training staff on the NEX Gen golf simulators.
- Sell Golf Clubs, Golf Equipment, Gloves, Merchandise, etc.
- Assist when possible or able, in club fitting sales.
- Manage and monitor your email and assist with monitoring the company email inbox (info@xgolfperrysburg.com and info@xgolftoledo.com for golf related inquiries).
- Performance of other management duties consistent with the Director of Golf position as requested by the owners.
- Maintain all Golf Simulator Equipment regularly, cleaning, replacement parts, assisting with upgrades as needed.
- Managing rental set inventory and club conditions
- Assist in keeping the facility clean and following all state guidelines regarding social distancing.
The following criteria for this position must be met at all times:
- Open to Close availability on all seven days per week. No workday is off in perpetuity, although we expect you to have a standard and consistent schedule. Golf Shows, events, league inception nights, may arise where you are needed on a non-regular day.
- On-Call for any and all owner, employee, customer, vendor, and operational concerns or issues.
- Expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week on “the floor” either in place of an hourly Facilities Manager or giving lessons as the PGA Pro.
- Understanding this position is not eligible for paid overtime although rare, at times, the need to work more than 40 hours per week may be necessary to the success of the business.
- Create a work schedule to work across all shifts on all days of the week throughout the month to best understand the business and employee and customer needs. The Owners expect a heavy concentration of work to be logged during peak teaching hours which their experience suggests will be in the mornings and weekends.
- Sell and give lessons exclusively under the X-Golf brand name.
