Internship: Golf Management/Pro Shop Internship

Castle Rock Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course that features 6,167 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 124. Other amenities include a driving range with two practice greens and a full bar and grill. The course is family owned and candidates will report directly to Owners.

Hourly wage is based on experience

• Help run Golf shop operations
• Assist in managing tournament operations and weekly events including planning, pre-tournament event sheets, post tournament responsibilities, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow up.
• Assist with merchandising operations to include inventory control of hard goods, special orders, ordering procedures, receiving procedures, displays, and sales
• conducting all tournament play and league play
• Open and close facility as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pro shop
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
• Ensures the other systems are working correctly, including Point of Sale and the course websites
• Works in the pro shop running the register and checking in guests and also working in the bar area as needed
• The work hours are typically from dawn to dusk (6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. depending on the season) and includes weekends and Holidays
• Works with contacts and owners to make sure outings and group events are in order
