Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Professional, as an independent contractor, to contribute to the golf instruction and programming at Watermark Country Club, one of RedWater's private facilities. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with the Player Development Director to develop and implement targeted programs to engage specific groups of golfers, complementing the offerings of our current golf professional staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering golf instruction through individual lessons, programs and camps that meet the needs of specific target groups.
  • Collaborating with the Player Development Director to align your programming with the goals of RedWater Golf.
  • Managing the administration, scheduling, and curriculum development for programs.
  • Providing individual and group lessons and coordinating your teaching schedule.
  • Managing your finances and accounting as an independent contractor.
  • Setting up and taking down for lessons, programs, and camps.
  • Working with club golf professionals to ensure programming is consistent with club operations and events.
  • Promoting a professional team dynamic and fostering relationships with other golf professionals at the club.
  • Recruiting and managing support for programs as needed (e.g., using club golf professionals, high school or college players).
  • Promoting Golf Shop merchandise and club sales as part of growing the game and the club membership at Watermark Country Club.
