Overview
The Locker Room Attendant is fully apprised of and knowledgeable of Club policies, rules and
regulations, Club golf and dining events and member services. To act in a variety of capacities including
event and dining reservations, tee-time bookings, tours of the Club’s facilities and accommodating
member service needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Greet everyone in a courteous and professional manner. Address members by names at all
times. Direct visitors or guests to the appropriate areas.
▪ Knowledge of telephone operation. Receiving and forwarding phone calls, taking messages,
▪ Maintains a current knowledge of Club activities, events, policies and directions to keep all members
informed and to be able to answer all enquiries.
▪ Assign lockers to members/guests and record for billing.
▪ Log all Lost and Found items in the log-book and place in Lost and Found storage.
▪ Unlock and lock doors as per the Club’s timetable.
▪ Complete towel maintenance including collecting soiled towels, laundering towels, folding and rolling
clean towels and replenishing towel supplies
▪ Keep locker room, laundry room and washroom counter tops, lockers, sinks, partitions, showers,
curtains, bath mats, garbage containers, mirrors, amenities, mops, benches, clean, organized, stocked and
sanitized.
▪ Performs various duties involving shoe cleaning for members and their guests.
▪ Performs cleaning tasks, such as mopping locker room floors and washing shower stalls. Empty and take
out garbage. Scrubs, mops, dusts and sweeps using cloths, brooms, vacuum, and cleaning solutions.
Sweep, mop and dust lobby areas on a daily basis. Keeps floors dry.
▪ Ensure that all Clubhouse and golf course washrooms and locker rooms are kept clean, tidy and stocked
on a daily basis. Maintenance of golf course washrooms requires driving a golf cart.
▪ Ensures trophies and trophy cabinets are dust & smudge-free, clean and tidy.
▪ Report and log dress code and etiquette infractions.
▪ Reports immediately any building or equipment damage or defects to the Building Maintenance Manager.
▪ Provides outstanding member service to all members and guests.
▪ Know and follow the emergency procedures.
▪ Complete any additional projects as may be requested by the Manager.
1-2 years as a Locker Room Attendant at a Country Club
Must be flexible to work shifts- days, evenings, weekends and holidays
▪ Excellent public relations, communications and organizational skill
▪ Pleasant personality and cooperative nature. Member service orientation.
▪ Must be clean and neat in appearance and in proper uniform.
▪ Capable of tact, diplomacy and taking positive action.
