Nestled along the Kings River and surrounded by towering oak trees lies Kings Country Club (KCC). Established in 1924 and located in Laton, California, this private member-owned facility offers a challenging par 72 golf course for all skill levels. The club offers a beautifully manicured golf course, newly renovated restaurant and a recently remodeled pro shop. The restaurant offers a full bar and grill to members and guests for breakfast, lunch and scheduled dinners. The club offers a variety of rooms and areas for rent to facilitate meetings or private gatherings.

Kings Country Club is in search of a Head Golf Professional (HGP) that reports directly to the KCC Board of Directors. The position requires a candidate that will be proactive in engaging with the membership, excellent communication skills and dedication to delivering an exceptional golf experience. The HGP will be responsible for all golf related activities including oversight of the Pro Shop, driving range, cart fleet, bag room and merchandise. Candidates with General Manager experience would be given special consideration. Compensation and benefits are commensurate to experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing exceptional customer service to the members and guests.
• Responsible for managing, hiring, training and developing all golf staff.
• Ensures the Pro Shop is clean, well-stocked and maintained.
• Management of Pro Shop merchandise.
• Experience with Point-of-Sales and golf management software.
• Responsible for Member, hosted and outside tournament play.
• Managing the Club’s golf cart fleet.
• Assist with weekly Women’s Group play.
• Facilitates private lessons and junior golf programs for Members.
• Comfortable communicating and working closely with Greens Superintendent, Food and Beverage manager, Office Manager and Board of Directors.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts for Board review.
• Attend and report at monthly Board meetings.
• Clear communication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
