Essential Responsibilities
The applicant should have a desire to work in the golf industry and be working toward PGA membership or be an active PGA member. The assistant golf professional will work to ensure exceptional customer service. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, ensuring that all members and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and information to members and guests, accurately operating point of sale system, assisting with special orders and all golf shop inventory, giving lessons, performing minor club repair, operating tournament software, outing preparation, playing with the membership, merchandising the golf shop. The Assistant Golf Professional will be a team player who reports to the Director of Golf and works with other assistants to maintain an exceptional golf shop operation.
