About Cape Cod National
Cape Cod National Golf Club was founded in 1998 by John R. Pfeffer and celebrated its 25th Anniversary this past summer. Mr. Pfeffer touted Cape Cod National as a traditionalgolf club from the beginning as it has the all the key elements required including: a championship golf course, signature practice facilities, a Francis Ouimet Scholarship backed caddie program, top end tournament offerings, and exceptional instructional services. At its inception, Mr. Pfeffer enlisted a New England architectural specialist, Brian Silva, to complete this championship facility on 154 acres of Cape Cod land. The result was a beautiful course that captured the mix of character between Cape Cod and inland New England while providing a challenging test for players of all skill levels.
The Club has played host to many national qualifiers including for the following tournaments: 2000 U.S. Open, 2013 U.S. Amateur, 2015 U.S. Mid-Amateur, and the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open. Additionally, the club has quickly risen through the state rankings where it currently sits at 16th in the State of Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Golf Association, meanwhile, selected it to host the prestigious Tri-States Tournament in 2022, which featured top amateurs from Massachusetts (Matt Parziale, Frank Vana Jr.), Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Club and course continues to gain traction and attention as it ages and matures
