Rolling Road Golf Club is a family-oriented, private golf club located in Catonsville, MD just outside of Baltimore. The club is home to a classically styled Willie Park Jr. course that while not long, will test every aspect of your game. In the past 3 years, the club has completed a course renovation, club house renovation, and a golf shop update is nearing completion. Rolling Road services 18,500 rounds annually in a year-round golf operation that offers a wide variety of events and services to the membership.
As a key member of the Professional Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering a first-class member experience while joining a team rooted in professionalism, teamwork, and fun. The 1st Assistant will be the point person for our tournament operations, directly manage our outside services team, and work closely with the Head Professional in merchandising and inventory control.
PGA membership is preferred but qualified candidates nearing the completion of the PGA program will be equally considered
3+ years of private club experience
Highly proficient in Golf Genius and Golf Genius Golf Shop
Highly organized with attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong playing ability and the desire to play regularly with the Membership and represent the club in section and local events
Jonas software experience is a plus
Schedule and Lead outside services team to provide optimal membership services while managing labor budget
Develop professional relationships with members and play regularly
Oversee all daily operations including golf shop sales, tee sheet management and billing, handicap management
Prepares and provdes a professional presentation for all club events and golf outings including coordinating scorecards, cart signs, rules sheets, and all event communications
Strong teaching skills with experience with the latest technology in launch monitors
Work with assistant professionals to develop and promote an attractive Jr golf program
Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience and PGA membership status. Potential total compensation of $75,000
